My friend Denise came out to visit tonight.  We let the pups explore outdoors, but they mostly wanted to climb in our laps.  I didn't take any new pictures, so here is one from a couple days ago.

Visitors

Busy weekend.  Had Beth and friend from Iowa City come visit on Sat. Pups enjoyed exploring the new people.

Sunday Cortney and family came to visit.  Hopefully I will have some great pics of her children with the puppies.  5 year old Sophie sat in the middle of the floor surrounded by playful puppies.  She carefully picked up and cuddled her favorites.  3 year old Sawyer also loved the babies, but his attention span for one activity wasn't quite as long as his sister's. ;) 

Today was the first chance I've had to take the puppies outside.  It has been too chilly for the little guys until today. They explored the grass, dead leaves, and a few ventured into the flower beds.

 Pups explored their room, then joined Reebok on the dog bed for a snack.

Pupppies have had their first meal.  Kibble soaked and put in the blender. Yummy!

Busy babies

I'm still having problems uploading photos to this blog.  I will check back later today.  The puppies are quite active.  They are exploring outside the whelping box.  Playing with each other, testing their voices. Lots of fun to watch.

Sleeping dogs

It's much easier taking pictures when they are sleeping. When they are awake they are constantly moving!

The 5 vertical pups are the livers, the two horizontal are the blacks.  They arranged themselves ;)

 

From what I've been able to read on-line, it might not be me - it looks like other people have been having the same problem uploading photos!  So, I will keep trying. :)

Pups continue to change by the minute.  All eyes are open. They are beginning to respond to noises around them. They are even more vocal-it's cute listening to their noises!

 Boys have first names of St Louis Cardinals, Girls have last names. Joe Kelly pitched a good game yesterday, Jaime Garcia is pitching tonight.  Go Cards!

2 weeks

Here is a better idea of what the markings look like.  Spots are still coming thru.  Tummies are the most colorful.  Faces are all beautiful-full trim around eyes, and just a couple of noses that are almost finished.
These guys are very active and vocal. Just took a couple videos.  Hope to get them to load tonight.  They are adorable!!!

Eyes are open

Still struggling with the camera/computer issue.  So here is a fuzzy pic from my phone. This is Yadi passed out, and Jaime relaxing with him.  All eyes are open today.  So fun to watch them up on their legs and looking around.  They really get around the whelping box quickly. Spots are showing pretty well, now.

New pictures

I tried to post pictures last night of the spots that are appearing.  For some reason my new computer would not let the blog accept the pictures. I even tried reposting a photo that was already posted! Same photo, same computer.  Beats me.  Hope to have time to try again tonight.
